Information we collect
Information you give us. When you apply for a job or contact us, including through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, our website, phone, text, or email, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your answers to our application questions, such as whether you hold a Class A CDL, your endorsements, years of experience, willingness to drive team, FedEx badge status, and ability to relocate
- Anything else you choose to send us, such as a photo of your CDL, a resume, or messages
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our hosting provider and basic analytics tools may collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. Our website may use cookies for basic site functions and analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Information from Meta (Facebook and Instagram). If you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares the information you entered in that form with us. Meta's own handling of your data is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Review your application and decide whether you qualify for a position
- Contact you by phone, text message, or email about your application and job opportunities with DNL
- Schedule interviews, orientation, and onboarding
- Complete hiring steps required for commercial drivers, such as background, driving record, and drug and alcohol testing checks, only with your separate authorization when required by law
- Improve our recruiting and our website
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your application. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
When we share information
We share information only when needed to run our business, including with:
- Service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, applicant tracking or spreadsheet tools, and background-check and drug-testing providers, who may use your information only to provide services to us
- FedEx Ground, when required to qualify or badge a driver to operate under our FedEx contract
- Government agencies or others when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property
How long we keep information
We keep applicant information as long as needed to consider you for current and future openings and to meet record-keeping requirements, including U.S. Department of Transportation rules. When we no longer need it, we delete or securely dispose of it.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information, unless we must keep it by law
- Stop contacting you

Children's privacy
Our website and job openings are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
